Puppy is here!

Our puppy arrived on an airplane from Nebraska the beginning of May. Next week she will be 4 months old! I cant believe how much she has changed so fast. We called her Midge after a bug and not barbies best friend (I work with people who remember things like this) and it seems to fit. Murf has taken to spoiling her now that she has gone from baby to tween in two months time. She chews on him and bosses him around (which is his decision) and is taking great care of her. She seems to be sensitive of displeasing, happy to play and learn and great friend to the kids. There is nothing better than a puppy!

Starting to..

This post is to share with you that we are excited about this spring. We are planning on adding a new Griffon to the family from Bluestem Kennels. There is a long history between them and Lou and their dogs and murf (see murf with charlie and sue here: http://www.gundogbreeders.com/breeders-nebraska/bluestem-kennels.html). They have a great kennel in Nebraska and are looking to expand their breeding program right when we are needing to get a little girl. She'll be born in March and coming home to us in Helena in the middle of May. We are happy to start this next adventure and not only bring a new dog on but also Great Divide Griffons.

Heres to healthy and happy Griffons and a future friendships!
